Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a hybrid metal material with excellent mechanical strength for a short time by introducing the different kind metal molten under pressure into the voids of a metal particle aggregate.
CONSTITUTION: The metal particle aggregate is filled in a mold or the like and preheated to a temp. lower than a solidification point of the molten metal to be poured. Subsequently, if the different kind metal molten is introduced under pressure by punch pressure, the said molten metal is easily permeated through voids between metal particles and, with the lapse of time, the alloying is advanced and a hybrid structure is formed. By this method, a metal material wherein the metal particles 1 are dispersed within a base metal 2 is obtained. If the processing such as the rolling, the extrusion is applied to this metal material, a laminate type hybrid metal material is obtained.
