Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of coating by a method wherein an alloyed film of Ni-Cr-Al, etc. is placed on an insulating film of Al2O3 by means of plasma spraying. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a spool made of stainless steel is made coarse by blasting, and about 200mum of an alloy of Ni-Cr-Al is used to adhere to that surface by plasma spraying, then about 500mum of an Al2O3 film is placed on the alloy also by plasma spraying. The laminated layers in this constitution are resistant to high temperature 500-850 deg.C and to low temperatures at -269 deg.C, preventing the occurrence of the separation of coating or dielectric breakdown. As an alloyed film, the following combinations effective, namely, Ni-Cr, Ni-Al, Ni-Cr-Al-Y, Co-Cr-Al, Co-Cr, Ni-Cr-Mo, Co-Cr-Al-Y, etc.; and as an insulating film, Cr2O3, ZrSiO4, ZrO2, CaZrO3, ZrO2-Y2O3.
