Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce film resistor composed of Ni-Cr-Al alloy having high stability and low temperature factor across wide variation of resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Al-Ni-Cr alloy having the composition within the range shown by a polygon determined by points a-e, where a (Ni 65%, Cr 5%, Al 30%), b(Ni 57%, Cr 13%, Al 30%), c(Ni 57%, Cr 38%, Al 5%), d(Ni 85%, Cr 10%, Al 5%), e(Ni 85%, Cr 5%, Al 10%) is used. Thin film is formed, for example, by performing resistor heating vacuum evaporation onto printedboard preheated to 100W400°C, then it is thermally processed to improve the stability. Cathod spattering, electron beaming, galvernizing may be employed.
