Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a two-way switch small-size and light-weight by using two IGFETs of the same conductive type to form a prescribed circuit. CONSTITUTION:N channel MOSFETs TR1 and TR2 are used as two IGFETs, and substrates 1 and 2 and sources 3 and 4 are connected to one end of resistance 13, and gates 7 and 8 are connected to the other end of resistance 13. Drains 5 and 6 are the controlled end of the two-way switch, and AC power source 9 and load 10 are connected in series. A series circuit of capacity 14, control signal source 11, and capacity 15 is connected in parallel to resistance 13. When the two-way switch is formed in this manner, the voltage of control signal source 9 can be sufficiently smaller than the voltage of power source 15, so that transistors of a small dielectric strength can be used as transistors TR1 and TR2. Consequently, the two-way switch can be small-size and light-weight.
