Abstract
PURPOSE:To abolish the insulating sheets and to simplify the arrangement of a semiconductor device by a method wherein electrostatic coating of epoxy resin is applied to flange parts unable to be sealed with the resin. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 2 is put on a metal flange 1, and a lead wire 3 is connected to the pellet electrode and is sealed with resin 4. Electrostatic coating of an epoxy resin 9 is applied to the exposed part of flange 1 including the inside face of fitting hole, and is baked. By this construction, the device is able to be fitted directly to a metal fin or a supporting base plate 5 of case body, and easily be arranged.
