Abstract
PURPOSE: To make accurate the position relation between a light-emission element provided to a main electrode terminal and a light-reception element previously cohered, by positioning well the main electrode and light-reception element and obtaining the degree of balance of installation by interposing an auxiliary electrode when adhering the light-reception element onto the main electrode at the lower side.
CONSTITUTION: Two-way light-reception element 31 composed of right and left thyristors opposite in current direction divided by center line 30 is alloy-adhered to auxiliary electrode 32 made of W with the same diameter by using Al. In this consititution, the positioning of light reception element 31 and auxiliary electrode 32 and the adjustment of the degree of balance of installation can be simplified although auxiliary electrode 32 is adhered to lower main electrode 33. Therefore, when light-emission device 35 with light emission element 37 is fitted onto the terminal of lower main electrode 33 through fixing board 44 composed of auxiliary insulating board 34 and conductive ring 39, light-emission device 35 and light reception element 31 can be positioned at fixed intervals under fixed mutual relation. Then, upper main electrode 38 is fixed onto light-reception element 31, and the whole body is covered with ceramic package 36.
