Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the corrosion resistance and to prevent the deformation at the time of brazing by a method wherein an aluminum or a corrosion-resisting aluminum alloy is used as core material and an aluminum alloy of predetermined composition is used as a skin material to prepare an aluminum brazing member, and an aluminum alloy of a predetermined composition is used as a fin material.
CONSTITUTION: Fins are made of an aluminum alloy prepared by admixing at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.02W0.2% of Cu, 0.01W 0.5% of Cr and 0.01W0.2% of Ti into an aluminum alloy containing 1W2% of Zn, 1W2% of Mn, 0.02W2% of Si and 0.02W0.5% of Fe. An ordinary aluminum or a corrosion-resisting aluminum alloy is used as a core material of an aluminum brazing sheet. An aluminum alloy containing 6W10% of Si and at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.02W0.5% of Zn, 0.01W0.2% of Cu, 0.01W 0.2% of Bi and 0.1W0.8% of Fe is used as a skin material of the brazing sheet. By use of the alloys of such compositions, it is possible to improve corrosion resistance and brazability.
