Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain atomization of low propulsion speed of paint etc. under low pressure in a tail-less state by providing a bulging channel on the mid-way of a barrel-form channel in such a manner that its backward facing step part is close to an injection orifice.
CONSTITUTION: A dome-form recess 4 consisting of a cup type concave face 2 and a cylindrical channel 3 is formed in the forward and backward direction axes to a nozzle body 1 and a corner angle part 5 having no fillet is formed at the boundary between the concave face 2 and channel 3. A V-form groove 6 is provided to the front end of the body 1 in the state that its bottom crosses the front end of the channel 3, thereby forming a lip form injection nozzle 7. Further, a bulging channel 9 is provided to the common axial line on the mid-way of the channel 3 so as to form a backward facing step part 8. For the depth of the V-form groove 6, the height h crossing the corner angle part is made to 1/100W1/10 with respect to the diameter d1 of the injection nozzle side channel 3 and the width W is made to 1/100W1/10.
