Abstract

1460717 Spray carburetters P H SCHOOFS 30 Sept 1974 [11 July 1973] 33160/73 Heading F1H The metering orifice 26 of the fuel nozzle 21 opens to a cavity 27 at the end of the nozzle and the upstream side wall of the cavity is chambered to form a sharp or narrow edge 28. The orifice 26 provides the minimum flow cross-sectional area in the fuel-flow path from a float chamber (10), Fig. 4 (not shown), secured to a projection 33 from the carburetter body 13. A plurality of nozzles 21 may be provided, one or more having more than one metering orifice.
