Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep stable combustion of mixture gas within the structure by a method wherein pre-mixture gas is supplied to the structure passing gas therethrough in order to circulate a part of the produced heat through the solid part of the structure from the high temperature burnt portion of the mixture gas at the down stream to the low temperature not-yet-burnt portion of the mixture gas at the upper stream.
CONSTITUTION: There is contained methane below thin combustible limit in gas caused by mine ventilation in a coal mine. Ballast furnace gas in iron manufacturing and exhaust gas in an oil refining plant also include fuel component below thin combustible limit. To burn such ultra-thin mixture gas below thin combustible limit continuously and steadly, it is required to increase the temperature of not-yet-burnt mixture gas. So pre-mixture gas is supplied to a structure passing gas therethrough in order to circulate a part of the produced heat through the solid part of the structure from a high temperature burnt portion of the mixture gas at the down stream to a low temperature not-yet-burnt portion of the mixture gas at the upper stream, thereby steadly burning the ultra-thin mixture gas within the structure.
