Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a gate signal from being affected by the change in an output capacity and attain stable operation, by using an input voltage component as a trigger signal. CONSTITUTION:A switching pulse signal is supplied from a control circuit to the base of a transistor Q with a slight time lag after application of power so that the transistor repeats switching on and off. A trigger signal current is supplied to the gate of a thyristor CR through a gate current limiting resistor R3, a capacitor C3 and a diode D2 coupled to the coiling outset part of a feedback winding F, by a voltage which is generated across the feedback winding when the transistor Q is closed. Just after the power application, the power is supplied through a resistor R1. After that, a current is supplied from the thyristor CR.
