Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable safety running of a steam turbine by detecting the wet condition from the pressure, temperature and flow of main steam, those of bleed and load or anticipating the variation to perform proper control and protection of a steam turbine.
CONSTITUTION: Each signal 8W14 from a main steam pressure detector 1, main steam temperature detector 2, main steam flow detector 3, load detector 4, bleed pressure detector 5, bleed temperature detector 6 and bleed flow detector 7 is taken into an exhaust pressure-temperature arithmetic unit 15, to operate the pressure and temperature of turbine exhaust. The output is taken into an enthalpy-entropy arithmetic section 18 and outputted from a wet decision section 21 and change rate operating section 22 as an exhaust enthalpy signal 19 and exhaust entropy signal 20. The outputs from said sections 21, 22 are supplied to a condition deciding section 25 and the steam turbine is controlled under proper condition where said signals are combined.
