Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately perform the compensation each temperature without giving effect on others, by stepwise selection of the reactance element in response to ambient temperature through the connection of a plurality of compensation reactances every specified temperature to the crystal oscillation circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The voltage in response to the ambient temperature is outputted from the temperature voltage conversion circuit 20 and it is fed to one input of the comparators 211∼218. The reference voltage 221∼228 in different values are connected to another input of the comparators and only the comparator in response to the output value from the circuit 20 is outputted, and current flows through the resistor 18, switching element 16n and resistor 13, only the reactance element 15n connected to the comparator is coupled with the crystal oscillator 12 and the oscillation frequency is compensated within permissible range within a given range of ambient temperature. The elements 151∼158 of compensation are independent every temperature and the compensation for each point can accurately be made without giving effect to others, and the desired permissible deviation can easily be obtained.
