PURPOSE:To secure compensation for the amplitude frequency characteristics of the transmission line by giving the continuous change to the load of the resonance circuit forming the band blocking circuit in the amplitude frequency characteristics compensating circuit of the band blocking type with the branch line provided in the middle of the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Transmission line 3 and branch line 4 are connected via diode 7, and the current is supplied to diode 7 from power source 10 via variable resistor 9 and element 8 which is provided to secure the impedance matching and thus features the impedance larger enough than the characteristics impedance of the branch line. Diode 7 has variation of the forward resistance value according to the scale of the current supplied, and thus the current can be controlled via resistor 9. If the matching impedance is added across line 3 with the equivalent conversion given, L/C resonance circuit 5' features the structure of parallel connection of variable resistors 11.
