Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize operation for temperature change with making the output power fixed for input power change by utilizing the bias voltage of a pin diode, which operates as an output limiter, by diving the self-bias voltage of a varactor diode, which operates as a multiplier.
CONSTITUTION: Varactor diode 10 which operates as a multiplier and pin diode 12 which operates as an output limiter are provided, and resistances 11 and 13 for self- bias are connected to varactor diode 10, and this self-bias is divided by resistances 11 and 13 and is utilized as the bias of pin diode 10. In another example, external power source 13, in stead of resistance 13, is connected in series to resistance 11, and the self-bias and power source 13 are superposed onto each other and are used as the bias of varactor diode 10 to make the output fixed for input power change, thereby constituting a multiplying circuit which is stable for temperature change.
