Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of re-combusting uncombusted matters in a waste combusting furnace, according to which fine particles of uncombusted matters, extraceted from uncombusted matters during combusting process or after the combusting process, ane separated into combustible matters and incombustible matters, and the combustible matters are introduced into the combustion furnacne, whereby it is enabled to lower the combustion loss.
CONSTITUTION: Waste F is introduced into hopper 2 and dried by drying grate 5, and then it is combusted at combusting and after-combusting grate 6. Uncombusted matters and incombustible matters E are carried to filter 7, where they are separated from each other. That is, fine particles of uncombusted matters A are dropped into hopper 13, whereas rough incombustible matters E' are carried into water tank 17 via chute 4, after removing ash. The fine particles of uncombusted matters A in hopper 13 are carried into cyclone 20 via duct 19, by the suction force of fan 22. In the cyclone 20, uncombusted matters A are separated into fine particles of incombustible matters D such as sand having a relatively high specific gravity and fine particles of combustible matters G having a small specific gravity. Said matters D are removed of ash at double damper 24 and discharged to chute 4, whereas matters G are carried above grate 6 in the combustion furnace 1 via duct 23 and they are floatation combusted in the furnace 1.
