Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent scattering of fire flankes and to make it possible to incinerate garbage or dust completely by a method wherein the combustion chamber of the title incinerator is divided into three sections so that the resultant smoke is directed upwardly step by from below and the fire flakes in the smoke are separated positively.

CONSTITUTION: Material to be burned such as garbage is thrown into a primary combustion chamber A after a cover 1 is opened by turning a handle 2 and when a scrap of newspaper on fire is put into the combustion chamber through a firing port 9, the material begins to burn. In this case, air is supplied into the primary combustion chamber A through air intake slots provided in a refractory brick layer lined over the internal surface of the combustion chamber so that the combustion of the material is accelerated and the resultant smoke generated in the primary combustion chamber A flow in the direction of the arrow through a tunnel provided below a partition wall 10 to reach a secondary combustion chamber B where large sized fire flakes are crushed and deposited on the bottom of that chamber as ashes. The smoke including fine fire flakes is then introduced into a tertiary combustion chamber C through a duct 11 and the fire flakes included therein are removed completely due to a cyclonic action.
