The discharge electromagnetic valve 4 closes, in defrosting, with a main liquid electromagnetic valve 7, liquid electromagnetic valve 18, and a suction electromagnetic valve 33, and a hot-gas electromagnetic valve 42 is opened. Thus, a prescribed pressure for the discharge pressure controlling valve 5 in which coolan gas passes which has a high temperature and pressure and is discharged from the compressor 1 is set at a value sufficient to complete defrosting rapidly.
