Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve deforsting by a composition to defrost the evaporator which is stopped with the cool-keeping operation, by saturation gas with comparatively low temperature by providing with a hot-gas by-pass line and divergent line.
CONSTITUTION: A hot-gas divergent line 11 is diverged at the midway of the discharge line 3 of a compressor 1 with a depressurizing valve 10 interposed and connected to every evaporator 6I-6II with defrosting gas electromagnetic valves 12I-12II. A by-pass line 13 diverged from the liquid line 4 is connected to the divergent line 11 at the lower stream than the depressurizing valve 10, and is equipped in its inside with a termal type expansion valve 15 having a by-pass electromagnetic valve 14 and a thermosensor part 15a. A pressure regulating valve 17 is provided on the divergent line 11 between the divergent point and the condenser 2 as well as an accumulator 18 is equipped at the suction side of the compressor 1 to improve the defrosting.
