Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten pressure-balancing time of refrigerant between a high pressure and a low pressure part by connecting a high pressure and a low pressure refrigerating cycle to a bypass circuit and equipping a valve on the way.
CONSTITUTION: In the beginning of operation, refrigerant circulates as a compressor 1→a discharge pipe 2→a heat exchanger 3→a refrigerant control capillary tube 4→a heat exchanger 5→a suction pipe→ a compressor 1. Since the pressure difference between the discharge pipe 2 and the suction pipe 6 is smaller than a set point, a valve 8 is opened to supply refrigerant to a bypass 7, and when the pressure difference between both pipes 2 and 6 is risen above the set point, the valve 8 is closed not to supply refrigerant to the bypass 7. When the compressor 1 is stopped, refrigerant is mainly conducted through the refrigerant control capillary tube 4, but when the pressure difference between pipes 2 and 6 is reduced, a valve 8 is opened, and the refrigerant is also conducted through the bypass circuit 7 from a high pressure part to a low pressure one to be balanced in pressure. This construction serves to shorten the balancing time.
