Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the title equipment by which automatic plating with no adhesion of sludge is made possible by induction heating a metal in a vessel with heating coils installed around the vessel to melt the metal and letting the molten metal flow as jet streams with eddy current toward the upper part of the center of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:By applying an electric current to heating coils 5, molten metal 3 in vessel 2 forms jet streams flowing toward the upper part of the center of vessel 2 by means of eddy current. Accordingly, the surface of metal 3 becomes that with a convex curvature, forming a head between outer central part 8 and periphery 9. When heat exchanger 1 is dipped, flux, lead oxide, etc. floating on the surface of metal 3 are gathered to periphery 9. Since central part 8 is always at a non- oxidizing state, by pulling up exchanger 1 from part 8 sludge such as flux and lead oxide is not sticked to the surface of exchanger 1, resulting in a lustrous plated surface.
