Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a valve's starting-and-closing response at time of ignition and turning off by connecting a heatsensing body in parallel with a resistance inserted in a thermocouple circuit or a valve control circuit. CONSTITUTION:By being heated by a flame 11, a thermocouple 8 generates electromotive power and exites an electromagnet 6 to open a valve body 6. If the flame 11 should have gone off for some reason, the thermocouple 8 loses the electromotive power shutting off the valve body 4 so that the gas passage is automatically closed, but this takes time, and therefore, in order to improve the response, a resistance 35 is inserted in series symmetrically an inductance L possessed by an electromagnetic coil 7. The electromotive power, however, becomes insufficient at the time of starting. And therefore, in order to cope with this, an electric current-sensing resistance transforming body 34 is connected in parallel so as to gain such a characteristic as not to increase resistance value even by increase of electric current so that closing speed of the valve 4 can be increased.
