Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A voltage is appropriately controlled by a current regulator 1, the output of which is changed into DC power by a rectifying circuit 5. When the switch S is opened, the direct load current i is cut off and the stored energy is released by the self-induction of the inductive load L to produce a surge. In that case, the magnitude of the direct load current i flowing through the load LR can be controlled by the current regulator 1 to adjust the magnitude of the surge.
