PURPOSE: To fabricate high temperature desalting filter which is superior in adsorbing capacity and mechanical strength by adhesively retaining porous metal sinter oxide into fine holes of the sinter formed with oxide film on the surfaces and heating to bond the oxide film and metal oxide particles.
CONSTITUTION: Titanium alkoxide such as, for example, titanium tetraisopropoxide is immersed in fine holes of porous titanium sinter formed with titanium oxide film on the surface by sintering powder titanium. This porous sinter is dipped in water to hydrolyze it to evaporate isopropanol. After titanium oxide fine particles are adhered on the surfaces of fine holes, they are dried to be calcined, for example, at 400°C.
