Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain stable recording of good quality without producing any waste after recording and without any lumit in the thickness of plain paper by so arranging the method that the recording images corresponding to electric signals are transferred to plain paper via intermediate substrate. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head 1 is heated according to electric signals to let a heating element 2 evolve heat, thereby heating the toner 5 having been magnetically held on a magnet roll 4 via intermediate substrate 3. This causes the toner 5 to be fused onto the substrate 3, but the substrate 3 moves in the arrow direction and the roll 4 also moves in the arrow direction. Then, the new surface of the substrate 3 contacts the new surfaces of the toner 5, thus the recording images 9 are subsequently fused onto the substrate 3. The substrate 3 further moves in the arrow direction and contacts a heating roll 7 which has been heated to a specified temperature. Then, the recording images 9 having been fused onto the substrate 3 melt and bond to plain paper 10, whereby the fused recording images 9 are transferred onto the plain paper 10 and the recording images 11 are formed.
