Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce nonuniformity in the density of color development even upon high speed driving and make the printing clear by a method wherein an electric power having such a degree of the time width of impression that it will not develop color is impressed to the heating resistant body corresponding to a picture element in which the color is not developed. CONSTITUTION:An electric current is flowed through the heating resistant body H1 during a period wherein both of the output signal DP1 of an OR gate and a block signal BP1 are ''1'', that means the period of an initial forcibly impressing time P1. The driving circuit flows the electric current and heats respective heating resistant bodies during the printing period of one line for at least the period of the time width P1 in spite of the existence or nonexistence of a picture signal. The heat sensitive paper will never develop the color during this time width P1. When the picture signal is ''1'', the electric current will be flowed during a period of a picture signal impressing time P0. The density difference of the color development due to the difference of an electric power impressing frequency may be reduced by the conducting of electricity having the time width P1 and the nonuniformity in the color development upon the high speed driving may be reduced because the nonuniformity becomes small, thereby enabling to obtain the clear printing.
