Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the temperature of a recording head and to prevent the degradation of picture quality when the temperature of the heat sensitive recording head is increased, by intermittently thinning the picture element recording on each line, and shifting the position of the picture elements to be thinned on the adjacent lines. CONSTITUTION:A current in a pulse shape is conducted through a plurality of resistors R1, R2, R3, and the like for picture element sections based on a picture signal. Coloring recording is performed on recording paper by the b heat of resistors for the picture element sections.
