Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow a recording density at a starting time of recording to be equalized with a subsequent density, by a method wherein, at a point of time of a record waiting time other than an electrifying recording period based on an original picture signal, a temperature of a resistance part is kept at higher than a coloring temperature. CONSTITUTION:A matrix wiring unit 1, mXn pieces of resistances R1-Rmn for line recording, and diodes D1-Dmn, connected in series to said resistances, are formed on a ceramic substrate. On the ceramic substrate, n pieces of group selection signal electrodes S1-Sn and m pieces of picture signal electrodes P1-Pm are also formed. Each of group selection drive circuits 31-3n is turned on by means of a signal from a group selection circuit 2, and in the meantime, when, for example, 31 is on, a picture signal to be recorded by means of the resistance R1-Rm is output from a picture signal transducing circuit 4 to each of pictue signal drive circuits 51-5m, and the R1-Rm are electrified corresponding to the picture signal for heating. When 32 is on, Rm+1-R2m are energized for heating like the above. As described above, recordings of m pieces of the resistances are conducted n times, and as a result, mXn pieces of picture information are recorder.
