Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent transfer miss, uneven density, etc. and obtain the transfer images of high image density and high quality by applying a voltage between a transfer master and an acceptor thereby forming an electric field at the time of heat transfer. CONSTITUTION:The transfer master 11 obtained by coating various dyes or pigments such as heat sublimable dyes, oil soluble dyes and others with a binder such as wax or other on a substrate such as heat-resistant resin film or the like of good heat conductivity consists of a substrate 12 and a transfer layer 13 which are so formed that the attraction force between the acceptor 14 placed in close contact with the transfer layer 13 and consisting of a resin film such as polyester or the like and the transfe layer 13 at the melting always becomes larger than the tacky force between the substrater 12 and the transfer layer 13 at the melting and the cohesive force of the transfer layer 13. Because of this, an electric field is formed between the master 11 and aceptor 14 by applying a voltage thereto at the transfer. Thereby, the transfer images free from transfer miss and uneven densities and of high quality may be obtained.
