Abstract
PURPOSE:To develop the color of heat-sensitive paper instantaneously and clearly by a method wherein light is applied to a photoconductive body through an image and simultaneously a magnetic filed varying every hour is applied to generate eddy current, heat being generated by the eddy-current loss. CONSTITUTION:Light is applied from a light source 1 such as mercury lamp to the photoconductive body 2 through an original copy 3, being passed only through the photo-permeable part 3a of the copy 3. Since the electrical conductivity of tye irradiated area of the photoconductive body 2 is thus raised, the alternating-current magnetic filed is added by an electromagnet 5 under the condition. And then the eddy current is produced in the irradiated area of the photoconductive body 2 and the heat is generated by the eddy-current loss. The heat is transmitted to the heat- sensitive paper 4 made to contact with the photoconductive body 2 and thus the color is developed in the image corresponding to the ariginal 3.
