Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent excessive concentration of mixture gas by a device for restricting fuel evaporation loss exhaust of an internal combustion engine by communicating the purging air intake space under a canister for preventing exhausting of evaporated fuel with the intake manifold over a venturi to operate the pressure in the intake manifold to the float chamber for predetermined time.
CONSTITUTION: The upper portion 37 of the float chamber 11 of a carbureter 5 is communicated through an inner vent 43 with the intake manifold 6 above a venturi 7 and through an outer vent 31 with the fuel introduction space 29 above a canister 27 with a control valve 41 installed at the branch to be interlocked with a throttle valve 13 for opening the outer vent 31 over the idle opening. Evaporated fuel adsorbed to the canister 27 is introduced through a tube 59 having a check valve into the manifold 6. The purging air intake space 30 under the canister 27 is communicated with the intake manifold 6 above the venturi 7 for transmitting the pressure varying at the manifold 6 always at the upper portion 37 of the float chamber 11 when the outer vent 31 is opened.
