Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve combustion condition and starting characteristic and promote warming-up by employing a throttle valve controlling means and means for raising the secondary pressure of vapor izer to increase the supply of mixture of air and fuel with proper ratio when engine is in cool state.
CONSTITUTION: Since intake negative pressure increased in speed reduction of engine is introduced into a negative pressure chamber 72 of speed reduction controlling valve 70 to move left a diaphragm 73 for making a valve body 72 open a valve hole 74, a negative pressure path 71 is opened to introduce the increased negative pressure into a negative pressure operated chamber 55 of a throttle valve controlling means 50. Hence a diaphragm 54 is pulled to increase the opening of a throttle valve 26 and the amount of intake air and prevent the reduction of intake negative pressure and excessive concentration of mixed gas, thereby avoiding the degradation of combustion quality and exhaust contents and the unfavorable frequent occurrence of after burn. Further this control of speed reduction provides a concentrated measure against speed reduction in the region of low vehicle speed less than 10km/h where said unfavorable condition take place.
