Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide good starting of a multiple fuel internal combustion engine, using preperly both gasoline and kerosene responding to engine temperature, by communicating air-intake channels of said engine with multiple fuel-internal combustion engine starting air-intake channels-one for gasoline and the other for kerosene-each equipped with a temperature detection valve.
CONSTITUTION: Bypassing a throttling valve 4 for a main carbureter 2, an air- intake channel 14 for second starting is installed to communicate to a float chamber for kerosene poor in a low-boiling point constituent and the second temperature detection valve 31 which opens the air-intake channel 14 at high temperature. At the upper stream of the throttling valve 4, an air-intake channel 25 for primary starting is installed to communicate to a float chamber 20 for gasoline abundant in a low-boiling point constituent and a primary temperature detection valve 30 which opens the air-intake channel 25 at low temperature. Both the valves 30 and 31 are communicated to a main air intake channel 3. During starting at low temperature, gasoline is supplied while kerosene is fed during starting at high temperature.
