Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)本質的に以下のi)〜iii)からなる混合物を提供すること、 i)少なくとも80重量%のαアルミナ、0.01重量%〜約10重量% (酸化物MOとして測定)のアルカリ土類金属酸化物、0.01重量%〜約10 重量%(シリカとして測定)の酸化ケイ素、及び0〜約15重量%(二酸化物と して測定)の酸化物の形のジルコニウムを含むセラミック成分、 ii)上記混合物を造形可能にする量の液体キャリヤー媒体、 iii)セラミック成分に基づいて合計で0〜15重量%のセラミック結 合材、潤滑剤及び/又は造形補助剤、 b)上記混合物を造形して担体の先駆体を形成すること、 c)上記担体の先駆体を乾燥して上記液体キャリヤー媒体を除去すること、 並びにその後で、 d)上記先駆体を焼成して約15%〜約60%の本質的に均一な多孔性を備 えた担体を形成すること、 を含み、上記セラミック成分の粒度を、乾燥した先駆体の充填密度が焼成した担 体のそれ以下になるように選択する、触媒担体の製造方法。 2.上記混合物の上記セラミック成分が少なくとも85重量%のαアルミナ、 約0.01重量%〜約6.0重量%のカルシウム及びマグネシウムのケイ酸塩か らなる群より選ばれる、アルカリ土類金属ケイ酸塩、並びに約0.01重量%〜 約10重量%のジルコニアを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 3.αアルミナ成分がモードが2つある粒度分布を持ち、第一の モードが15ミクロン〜120ミクロンの平均粒度を持ち、及び第二のモードが 第一のモードの半分よりも小さくかつ約1ミクロン〜15ミクロンの平均粒度を 持つ請求項1に記載の方法。 4.選択されたαアルミナ成分が、約15ミクロン〜120ミクロンの中央粒 度を持つ軽く焼結された結合体を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 5.選択されたαアルミナ成分が、約30ミクロン〜90ミクロンの中央粒度 を持つ軽く焼結された結合体を含む請求項4に記載の方法。 6.担体を焼成するときにチタニアを形成する化合物を約0.01重量%〜約 5重量%のチタニアに相当する量を供給するのに十分な量で、セラミック成分が 更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。 7.a)本質的に以下のi)〜iii)からなる混合物を提供すること、 i)少なくとも90重量%のαアルミナ、0.01重量%〜約10重量% (酸化物MOとして測定)のアルカリ土類金属酸化物、0.01重量%〜約10 重量%(シリカとして測定)の酸化ケイ素、及び0〜約10重量%(二酸化物と して測定)の酸化物の形のジルコニウムを含むセラミック成分、 ii)上記混合物を造形可能にする量の液体キャリヤー媒体、 iii)セラミック成分に基づいて合計で0〜10重量%のセラミック結 合材、潤滑剤及び/又は造形補助剤、 b)上記混合物を造形して担体の先駆体を形成すること、 c)上記担体の先駆体を乾燥して液体キャリヤー媒体を除去すること、並び にその後で、 d)上記先駆体を焼成して約15%〜約60%の本質的に均一 な多孔性を備えた担体を形成すること、 を含み乾燥した先駆体を焼成したときの重量の減少が15%よりも少ない、触媒 担体の製造方法。 8.上記混合物の上記セラミック成分が少なくとも85重量%のαアルミナ、 カルシウム及びマグネシウムのケイ酸塩からなる群より選ばれる、約0.01重 量%〜約6.0重量%のアルカリ土類金属ケイ酸塩、並びに約0.01重量%〜 約10重量%のジルコニアを含む請求項7に記載の方法。 9.αアルミナ成分がモードが2つある粒度分布を持ち、第一のモードが15 ミクロン〜120ミクロンの平均粒度を持ち、及び第二のモードが第一のモード の半分よりも小さ区かつ約1ミクロン〜15ミクロンの平均粒度を持つ請求項7 に記載の方法。 10.選択されたαアルミナ成分が、約15ミクロン〜120ミクロンの中央 粒度を持つ軽く焼結された結合体を含む請求項7に記載の方法。 11.選択されたαアルミナ成分が、約30ミクロン〜90ミクロンの中央粒 度を持つ軽く焼結された結合体を含む請求項10に記載の方法。 12.担体を焼成するときにチタニアを形成する化合物を約0.01重量%〜 約5重量%のチタニアを供給するのに十分な量で、セラミック成分が更に含む請 求項7に記載の方法。
