Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.食品を可撓性材料または折り畳み自在の成形性材料から成る容器に密閉し た後、処理室内、好ましくはオートクレーブ内で熱処理することによってその貯 蔵寿命を延ばす方法であって、 前記容器(1、14)が少なくとも2つの姿勢または状態、すなわち容器(1 )の向かい合う側壁パネル(7)間の距離にしたがって密封食品の層の厚みが、 容器が第2の姿勢または状態にある場合の対応する距離および層の厚みより実質 的に小さくなるように両側壁パネルが相互に配列される第1の姿勢と容器(14 )を分配、販売または使用する際の形状に一致する第2の姿勢とを取ることが可 能であることを特徴とし、 さらに容器の前記第1の姿勢が前記熱処理の間の容器およびその内容物から想 定した形状に一致することを特徴とする方法。 2.包装材料に前もって作成しておいた折り畳み線、いわゆる折り線(3、4 )に沿って折り畳み成形することによって、その包装材料から製造した容器(1 、14)が前記第1および第2の幾何学的姿勢を取るような方法で包装材料を成 形することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.包装容器(14)を折り畳み成形を容易にする折り線(3、4)を備えた 包装材料のウェブ(9)から製造し、前記ウェブを新たにチューブ(20)に形 成して、ウェブ(9)の縦方向の縁が互いに接合されて前記のように形成された チューブ(20)には目的の内容物が注入されるようにし、その後、互いに間隔 をとって離れている幅の狭い封かん域(2)に沿ってフラット・プレッシングお よび封かん操作を繰り返すことによってチューブ(20)を分割し、前記横方向 の封かん域(2)において切り込みによってチューブ(20)から切り離した別 個の包装ユニット(1、14)とすることと、 包装容器(1)に第1の平なまたは平にされた形を付与するような方法、すな わち包装材料を前記折り線(3)に沿って折り畳む方法で、前記折り線(3、4 )に沿って折り畳むことによって前記切り離された包装容器(1、14)を形成 し、その場合に包装容器(1)の断面が多角形、実質的に六角形となることと、 前記第1の形状を取る包装容器(1)をオートクレーブ内に導入し、そこに納 められた内容物の細菌集団および包装材料表面に存在する細菌が相当程度減少す るような方法で、それを加圧下で加熱処理することと、 加熱処理後に、前記包装容器(1)をオートクレーブから取り出して第2の完 成した形とする、すなわち包装材料を折り線(3)に沿って再度折り畳み前記折 り線(3)を平面の壁パネル(7)に含めるようにすることと、 さらに角の部分を折り畳んで三角形かつ二つの壁面を有する折り返し片とし、 その折り返し片を包装の側面および/または底面方向につぶしかつ固定させるこ とによって、包装容器(14)に実質的に平行六面体の形を付与することとを特 徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.オートクレーブ内での熱処理の間、包装の厚みを最小限度に縮小するため に、包装(1)を手段(15)によって積極的に圧縮することを特徴とする、請 求の範囲第1項および第3項に記載の方法。 5.包装(1)が幾何学的に不確定の形状をした袋状またはクッション状の包 装から成り、例えば包装材料の別個のシートまたはウェブから形成したクッショ ンから成り、その場合に前記別個のシートまたは前記別個のウェブの構成材料は シートの縁に沿って延びる本来密閉されるべき封かん継目または合わせ目に沿っ て接合され、前記クッションの第1の姿勢はオートクレーブ内に前記封かん継目 を実質的に水平面に設置するような方法でクッションを置いた時に得られること を特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 6.包装容器(1、14)がせん孔半製品から製造される包装容器から成るこ とを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.食品が構造上実質的に均質であり、かつポンプによる送液が可能であるこ とを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 8.熱処理を意図した包装容器(1、14)をスルースゲートによって高圧蒸 気殺菌域に導入、また、高圧蒸気殺菌域から取り出すという連続したプロセスと して高圧蒸気殺菌を実施することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法 。 9.オートクレーブ(12)を含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法を実行す る装置であって、前記オートクレーブ(12)には、駆動手段(24)の助けを 借りて上部の非活動位置(15’)から下部の活動位置(15)に移動可能な1 つまたは複数の圧縮装置(15)が備わっており、そこでは、オートクレーブ( 12)内で包装(1)の熱処理を実行する間その容器の厚みを縮小するために、 第2の活動位置にある前記圧縮装置(15)は、オートクレーブ(12)内に挿 入される内容物が充填された密閉包装容器を圧縮することができるように配置さ れていることを特徴とする装置。
