Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.周期律表のVIII族の金属が炭素支持体上に固定化された担持触媒において、 触媒がハロゲン原子、VIII族金属、および通常の活性炭よりもより疎水性の表面 を有し、活性炭を不活性媒体中で500〜1100℃の温度処理にかけることにより得 られる活性炭支持体を含むことを特徴とする担持触媒。 2.VIII族金属が、下記一般式: [式中、Xはハロゲン原子を表し、MeはVIII族金属を表し、Aは有機または無 機の基であり、nは0〜4であり、mは0〜3である。]に示すように活性炭支 持体に結合していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の担持触媒。 3.VIII族金属がロジウムであることを特徴とする請求項1〜2のいずれか一項 に記載の担持触媒。 4.ハロゲンがヨウ素、臭素または塩素であることを特徴 とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の担持触媒。 5.(a)活性炭を不活性媒体中で500〜1100℃の温度処理にかけ、そして次の 工程を別個に、または同時に行う:すなわち(b)このように処理した活性炭支 持体をpKa<3の強酸と接触させることにより促進し、(c)促進された支持 体を触媒のハロゲン原子と対応するハロゲン化水素と接触させ、(d)促進され た炭素支持体を、溶媒に溶解したVIII族金属源の混合物と接触させる ことによる、担持触媒の製造法。 6.強酸が工程(c)のハロゲン化水素であり、工程(b)および工程(c)を 一緒にして一工程で行うことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。 7.工程(d)において一酸化炭素が存在することを特徴とする請求項5〜6の いずれか一項に記載の方法。 8.VIII族金属源との接触(d)を、0.1〜10MPaの圧力の水素の存在下で行うこ とを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 9.強酸およびハロゲン化水素がHIであり、VIII族金属源の金属がロジウムで あることを特徴とする請求項5〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 10.工程(a)で得られた活性炭を、工程(b)の前に水中で酸素と接触させ ることを特徴とする請求項5〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 11.請求項5〜10に記載の方法のいずれか一つによって得られる炭素支持体 物質上の担持触媒。 12.請求項1〜4のいずれか一項もしくは11に記載の、または請求項5〜1 0のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得られる担持触媒を、カルボニル化反応 における触媒として用いる方法。 13.請求項1〜4のいずれか一項もしくは11に記載の、または請求項5〜1 0のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得られる、VIII族金属がRhであり、ハ ロゲンがIである担持触媒を使用して、ブタジエンを一酸化炭素および水により 、臭化物またはヨウ化物促進されたカルボニル化することによってペンテン酸を 製造する方法。
