Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.排気排出物分析器によって分析することができるように、エンジンの排気系 からの排気ガス試料の希釈度を制御するための装置であって、 第1端と第2端とを備えた排気ガス採取管路を有し、前記第1端がエンジン の排気系に流体接続され、 前記排気ガス採取管路に取付けられた排気ガス採取管路オリフィスを有し、 該記排気ガス採取管路オリフィスが入口を備え、 実質的に汚染されていない希釈ガス源と、 第1端と第2端とを備えた希釈管路とを有し、前記第1端が前記実質的に汚 染されていない希釈ガス源に接続され、 前記希釈管路に取付けられた希釈管路オリフィスを有し、該希釈管路オリフ ィスが入口を備え、前記排気ガス採取管路オリフィスと前記希釈管路オリフィス とが、これらに亘って等しい圧力降下を作るように形作られ、 前記希釈管路に取付けられ、前記排気ガス採取管路に接続された、前記希釈 管路オリフィスの入口の圧力が前記排気ガス採取管路オリフィスの入口の圧力と 等しくなるように圧力を制御するための希釈圧力レギュレータと、 第1端と第2端とを備えた希釈ガス出口管路とを有し、前記第1端が排気排 出物分析器に接続され、 流体接合体を有し、前記排気ガス採取管路の前記第2端と、前記希釈管路と 、前記希釈ガス出口管路とが、前記流体接合体に接続され、 希釈排出ガス試料を前記希釈ガス出口管路に引っ張るための手段と、 前記希釈排出ガス試料を分析するためのシステムとを有する、 装置。 2.前記分析するためのシステムが、前記希釈排気ガス試料を連続的に分析する ための手段を有する請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.前記分析するためのシステムが、少なくとも1つの試料バッグと、排気ガス 試料の流れに比例して前記希釈排気ガス試料の流れを前記少なくとも1つの試料 バッグに計量供給するための手段とを有する請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 4.流れを前記少なくとも1つの試料バッグに計量供給するための前記手段が、 質量流制御器を有する、請求の範囲第3項に記載の装置。 5.希釈排気ガスサンプルをエンジンの排気系から準備して、排気排出物分析器 で分析する方法であって、 排気ガスサンプルをエンジンの排気系から抜き取り、前記排気ガスサンプル を排気ガスサンプルラインから計量供給装置の中に通し、希釈ガスを希釈ガス源 から抜き取り、前記排気ガスサンプルと前記希釈ガスの体積割合を圧力調節器で 実質的に一定の割合に維持しながら、圧力調節器を有する希釈ラインに前記希釈 ガスを通す段階と、 前記希釈ガスを前記排気ガスサンプルに導入して、希釈排気ガスサンプルを 作り出す段階と、 前記希釈排気ガスサンプルを排気排出物分析器に差し向ける段階と、 前記希釈排気ガスサンプルを分析する段階と、 校正用ガスを校正用ガス源から希釈器のサンプルラインに導入し、希釈校正 用ガスを作り出して、作動希釈割合を確立する段階と、 を含むことを特徴とする方法。 6.希釈排気ガスサンプルを連続的に分析する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求 の範囲第5項に記載の方法。 7.排気質量流量を決定し、瞬間排気濃度を測定し、次いで、前記瞬間排気濃度 を、これに対応する排気質量流量に掛けて、個々の汚染物成分の瞬間質量流量を 得る段階を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第6項に記載の方法。 8.前記計量供給装置を使用して、少量の希釈排気ガスサンプルを排気ガスサン プルの流量に比例した流量で計量供給することによって、希釈排気ガスサンプル を少なくとも1つのサンプルバッグの中に収集する段階を含むことを特徴とする 請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法。 9.前記計量供給装置として質量流量コントローラーを使用する段階を含むこと を特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。 10.前記校正用ガスを分析することによって希釈割合を決定し、その濃度を、排 気排出物分析器によって決定された前記希釈校正用ガスの濃度で割る段階を含 むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法。 11.総排気体積を決定し、前記少なくとも1つのサンプルバッグを分析すること によって汚染物の総質量を得て、希釈割合及び総排気体積に前記サンプルバッグ の中に確認された汚染物の濃度を掛ける段階を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲 第5項に記載の方法。
