Abstract

Un sistema per l'analisi del particolato contenuto nei gas di scarico di un motore Diesel comprende un tunnel di diluizione (3) nel quale viene alimentata una porzione del flusso del gas di scarico, insieme ad un flusso di aria atmosferica di diluizione. Il gas diluito in uscita dal tunnel (3) viene fatto passare attraverso un filtro (13) per la rimozione del particolato contenuto nel gas e la sua successiva pesatura. Sono previsti misuratori di precisione della pressione e della temperatura del flusso di aria o di diluizione e del flusso di gas diluito, nonché misuratori volumetrici della portata in volume dell'aria di diluizione e della portata in volume del gas diluito. Un elaboratore provvede ad elaborare i segnali in uscita dai suddetti misuratori e a fornire una misura della portata volumetrica dell'aria di diluizione, del gas diluito e, per differenza dei gas di scarico.(Figura unica).
