Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a.磁性出発物質の少なくとも1粒子を複数の、凝集できる、より小さな サイズの粒子に分割して、非被覆微粒子磁性基質を得、 b.該非被覆微粒子磁性基質を液体媒体中に懸濁し、 c.該被覆、懸濁微粒子磁性基質を、微粒子磁性基質の実質的な凝集が起こる 前に、被覆剤が基質に付着するのに十分な時間被覆剤で被覆し、再懸濁できる被 覆磁性粒子を形成させることからなる被覆剤を微粒子磁性基質に直接適用するこ とによる再懸濁できる被覆磁性微粒子の製造法。 2.さらに、被覆工程中で、微粒子磁性基質を少なくとも約45℃にて、被覆 剤が基質に付着するのに十分な時間加熱することからなる請求項1記載の方法。 3.該磁性出発物質が、少なくとも1種の遷移金属酸化物を含む請求項1また は2記載の方法。 4.遷移記載酸化物がマグネタイトである請求項3記載の方法。 5.被覆剤が天然または合成ポリマーである請求項1または2記載の方法。 6.磁性出発物質を、照射、振動、pH変動、音波処理またはこれの組み合わ せの下で分割する請求項1または2記載の方法。 7.被覆した磁性粒子が一般に最大寸法0.2μ以下を有する請求項1または 2記載の方法。 8.微粒子磁性基質の、被覆剤に対する重量比が、約1000:1〜約1:1 0である請求項1または2記載の方法。 9.さらに、磁性被覆粒子を水または水性緩衝液に再懸濁することからなる請 求項1または2記載の方法。 10.さらに、被覆磁性粒子を該被覆に特異的なに二官能性化合物と反応させ る工程を含む請求項1または2記載の方法。 11.さらに、被覆磁性粒子を二官能性化合物と反応させ、得られた粒子を二 官能リガンドと反応させる工程を含む請求項1または2記載の方法。 12.さらに、被覆磁性粒子を活性化剤と反応させ、得られた粒子を二官能リ ガンド反応させる工程を含む請求項1または2記載の方法。 13.加熱を、約60℃〜約85℃の温度で行う請求項2記載の方法。 14.微粒子磁性出発物質を、被覆剤の存在下、約50℃〜約85℃の温度で 細分する請求項2記載の方法。 15.微粒子磁性出発物質を、加熱せずに、被覆剤の実質的に非存在下で細分 し、ついで、細分した出発物質と被覆剤を、加熱しながら接触させる請求項2記 載の方法。 16.磁性出発物質が、 からなる群から選らばれる一対のイオンを含む請求項1記載の方法。 17.さらに、(a)微粒子磁性出発物質の液体混合物を形成し、 (b)該混合物を、約75℃の温度で、40〜180nmのサイズの粒子を生 ずるに十分な時間音波処理して、微粒子磁性出発物質を、液体中に懸濁する、凝 集できる、より小さなサイズの粒子に分割し、 (c)該加熱、非被覆、懸濁した、より小さなサイズの粒子を、該小さなサイ ズの粒子が実質的に凝集する前に、70〜80℃の温度で、被覆剤が基質に付着 するのに十分な時間、被覆剤と接触させて、再懸濁できる、被覆磁性粒子の安定 な懸濁液を形成することからなる請求項2記載の方法。 18.非被覆、懸濁微粒子磁性基質を、再懸濁できる被覆磁性粒子の完全な被 覆を与えるに十分な量以下の被覆剤と接触させる請求項17記載の方法。 19.請求項17の方法により調製された、再懸濁できる、被覆磁性粒子。 20.室温で24時間までの期間、粒子を1モル塩溶液に曝した場合、粒径増 加2倍以下で示される、塩溶液におけるコロイド安定性を示す再懸濁できる被覆 磁性粒子。
