Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリマーネットワークを含む架橋した合成樹脂組成物から製造される光学異 方性材料からなるポリマー薄膜であって、 (a)少なくとも1種のモノマーまたはオリゴマーであって、それぞれ(メタ −)アクリレート−エステル、エポキシおよびビニルエーテルからなる群から選 択される重合性官能基を少なくとも2個有する前記モノマーまたはオリゴマー、 (b)少なくとも1種のアキラル液晶モノマーまたはオリゴマーであって、そ れぞれメソゲン基を含有し、かつまた(メタ−)アクリレート−エステル、エポ キシおよびビニルエーテルからなる群から選択される重合性官能基を1個有する アキラル性液晶モノマーまたはオリゴマー、 (c)光開始剤、 (d)抑制剤および促進剤から選択される添加剤、 (e)必要に応じて、少なくとも1種のキラル成分、および (f)必要に応じて、少なくとも1種の液晶モノ−またはジチオール化合物、 からなる混合物の共重合によって得られるポリマー薄膜。 2.群(a)のモノマーまたはオリゴマーがそれぞれ、少なくとも2個の(メタ −)アクリレート−エステル基を有し、かつまた群(b)のモノマーまたはオリ ゴマーがそれぞれ、1個の(メタ−)アクリレート−エステル基を有する、請求 項1に記載のポリマー薄膜。 3.光学異方性材料が少なくとも1種のメソゲンキラル添加剤(e)を含有して いる、請求項1または2に記載のポリマー薄膜。 4.群(a)のモノマーまたはオリゴマーの少なくとも1種、群(b)のモノマー またはオリゴマーの少なくとも1種、UV開始剤(c)の少なくとも1種および キラル添加剤(e)の少なくとも1種からなる混合物をその場でUV共重合させ ることによって得られる前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー薄膜。 5.光学異方性材料が、 −5〜50重量%の群(a)のモノマーまたはオリゴマーの少なくとも1種、 −20〜95重量%の群(b)のモノマーまたはオリゴマーの少なくとも1種、 −0.5〜5重量%の光開始剤(c)、 −1〜20重量%のキラル添加剤(e)の少なくとも1種、および −1〜20重量%の液晶モノチオール化合物(f)の少なくとも1種、 からなる前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー薄膜。 6.群(a)のモノマーまたはオリゴマーが、それぞれメソゲン基を有する、前 記請求項のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー薄膜。 7.2個の電極間に配列されているねじれネマティック液晶材料を含有する液晶 セルおよびこの液晶材料の複屈折を補償するための薄膜からなる液晶デバイスで あって、この補償薄膜が請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のポリマー薄膜である ことを特徴とする、液晶デバイス。
