- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 流体または濃ガスから溶質を抽出する方法であって、 加圧されたモジュール内に反対両面を配して、流体および濃ガスの間の境界隔 膜として作用するとともに、前記溶質に対する選択性のない多孔性膜を準備する 段階と、 前記濃ガスを前記膜の片側にて前記モジュールに導入し、前記流体を前記膜の 反対側にて導入する段階であって、前記流体および濃ガスの少なくとも一方は抽 出すべき溶質を含有しており、前記流体および濃ガスの他方は抽出媒体として作 用し、前記濃ガスは少なくとも約0.5g/ccの濃度を有し、前記流体および 濃ガスは互いに本質的に非混和性で2つの状態相を形成するようになす前記導入 段階と、 前記モジュール内の前記膜の両側の圧力が本質的に同じ状態で前記処理を実施 する段階と、 前記流体および前記濃ガスの間の前記溶質の濃度勾配によって駆動されるよう に、前記膜を横断して前記溶質を抽出する段階とを含む抽出方法。 2. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記膜の反対側に前記流 体を与える前記段階に先立って、前記濃ガスで前記膜を乾燥させる段階をさらに 含む抽出方法。 3. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記濃ガスおよび流体が 前記膜の前記両側で反対方向へ(向流状態で)移動される抽出方法。 4. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記多孔性膜が中空繊維 膜である抽出方法。 5. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記多孔性膜が、ポリプ ロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリビニリデンジフル オライド、ナイロン、ポリサルフォネート、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、 セルロースアセテート、セルロースニトレート、セルロースおよびアクリルを含 んでなる群から選ばれた材料で作られる抽出方法。 6. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記多孔性膜の孔径が約 0.001μm〜約1μmであり、前記膜の厚さは、約0.005mm〜約3m mである抽出方法。 7. 請求の範囲第5項に記載された方法であって、前記多孔性膜の孔径が約 0.1μm〜約0.2μmであり、前記膜の厚さは、約0.2mm〜約0.6m mである抽出方法。 8. 請求の範囲第1項に記載されたの方法であって、前記多孔性膜の孔が本 質的に対称である抽出方法。 9. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記濃ガスがメタン、エ タン、プロパン、ブタン、イソブタン、エテン、プロペン、ハイドロフルオロカ ーボン、テトラフルオロメタン、クロロジフルオロメタン、二酸化炭素、一二酸 化窒素、サルファーヘキサフルオライド、アンモニアおよび塩化メチルよりなる 群から選ばれた抽出方法。 10. 請求の範囲第9項に記載された方法であって、前記ハイドロフルオロ カーボンが部分的に弗素結合(fluorinated)されたメタン、エタンおよびプロ パンからなる群から選ばれた抽出方法。 11. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記濃ガスが二酸化炭 素である抽出方法。 12. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記流体が果物ジュー ス、果物プューレ、野菜ジュース、野菜プューレ、水にオイルを混ぜ合せたエマ ルジョン、生体細胞発酵肉汁(live cell fermentor broth)および発酵肉汁(e nzyme broth)からなる群から選ばれた抽出方法。 13. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記流体が少なくとも 約0.5g/ccの濃度を有する第2の濃ガスである抽出方法。 14. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、前記溶質が香味、芳香 、医薬、またはキレート化金属(chelated metal)である抽出方法。 15. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、処理が約−10°C〜 約200°Cの温度範囲において実施される抽出方法。 16. 請求の範囲第1項に記載された方法であって、処理が約2バール〜約 700バールの圧力範囲において実施される抽出方法。 17. 流体から香味または芳香を抽出する方法であって、 加圧されたモジュール内に反対両面を配して、流体および濃縮CO2の間の境 界隔膜として作用するとともに、前記香味または芳香に対する選択性のない多孔 性膜を準備する段階と、 前記流体および濃縮CO2を前記膜の前記反対両側にて反対方向へ移動させる 段階であって、前記流体および濃縮CO2の少なくとも一方は抽出すべき香味ま たは芳香を含有し、前記モジュールに導入し、前記流体を前記膜の反対側にて導 入する段階であって、前記流体および濃縮CO2の他方は抽出媒体として作用し 、前記濃縮CO2は少なくとも約0.5g/ccの濃度を有し、前記流体および 濃縮CO2は互いに本質的に非混和性で2つの状態相を形成するようになす前記 移動段階と、 前記モジュール内の前記膜の両側の圧力が本質的に同じ状態で前記処理を実施 する段階と、 前記流体および前記濃縮CO2の間の前記香味または芳香の濃度勾配によって 駆動されるように、前記膜を横断して前記香味または芳香を抽出する段階とを含 む抽出方法。 18. 流体または濃ガスから溶質を抽出する装置であって、 濃ガス供給源と、 流体供給源と、 反対両面を有する多孔性膜を収容する加圧可能なモジュールであって、前記濃 ガス供給源および流体供給源と作動連結されて、前記供給源から濃ガスを前記膜 の片側に受入れ、流体を前記膜の反対側に受入れるようになされており、前記膜 は前記溶質に対して非選択性であり、前記多孔性膜は前記流体および前記濃ガス の間の境界隔壁として作用しており、前記流体および濃ガスの少なくとも一方は 、前記流体および前記濃ガスの間の前記溶質の濃度勾配によって抽出される溶質 を含有しており、前記流体および濃ガスの他方は抽出媒体として作用するように なされているモジュールと、 前記抽出した溶質を回収する手段とを含む抽出装置。 19. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記膜の反対両側で 前記濃ガスおよび流体を移動させる手段をさらに含む抽出装置。 20. 請求の範囲第19項に記載された装置であって、前記手段が前記膜の 反対両側で前記濃ガスおよび流体を反対方向へ(向流状態で)移動させるように なされている抽出装置。 21. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記濃ガスおよび流 体が前記モジュールに導入される前に前記濃ガスおよび流体の圧力を実質的に均 衡させる手段をさらに含む抽出装置。 22. 請求の範囲第21項に記載された装置であって、前記手段が前記加圧 可能なモジュール内で抽出が行われる前に、前記圧力均衡手段内で溶質が抽出さ れるのを実質的に防止する手段を含む抽出装置。 23. 請求の範囲第22項に記載された装置であって、前記圧力均衡手段内 で溶質が抽出されるのを実質的に防止する手段が浮動ダイヤフラムである抽出装 置。 24. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記濃ガスおよび流 体の流量を制御する手段をさらに含む抽出装置。 25. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記濃ガスおよび流 体を監視し、ならびに溶質移動量を監視する手段をさらに含む抽出装置。 26. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記溶質を抽出した 後、前記濃ガス供給源および流体供給源に前記濃ガスおよび流体を戻す手段をさ らに含む抽出装置。 27. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記多孔性膜が中空 繊維膜である抽出装置。 28. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記多孔性膜がポリ プロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリビニリデンジフ ルオライド、ナイロン、ポリサルフォネート、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル 、セルロースアセテート、セルロースニトレート、セルロースおよびアクリルを 含んでなる群から選ばれた材料で作られており、また前記多孔性膜の孔径が約0 .001μm〜約1μmであり、前記膜の厚さは、約0.005mm〜約3mm である抽出装置。 29. 請求の範囲第28項に記載された装置であって、多孔性膜の孔径が約 0.1μm〜約0.2μmであり、膜の厚さは、約0.2mm〜約0.6mmで ある抽出装置。 30. 請求の範囲第18に記載されたの装置であって、前記多孔性膜の孔が 本質的に対称である抽出装置。 31. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記濃ガスがメタン 、エタン、プロパン、ブタン、イソブタン、エテン、プロペン、ハイドロフルオ ロカーボン、テトラフルオロメタン、クロロジフルオロメタン、二酸化炭素、一 二酸化窒素、サルファーヘキサフルオライド、アンモニアおよび塩化メチルより なる群から選ばれた抽出装置。 32. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記ハイドロフルオ ロカーボンが部分的に弗素結合(fluorinated)されたメタン、エタンおよびプ ロパンからなる群から選ばれた抽出装置。 33. 請求の範囲第18項に記載された装置であって、前記濃ガスが二酸化 炭素である抽出装置。
