Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.走行距離測定電子信号装置のようなホイールパルス入力信号発生器および 電源を有している車両用の拡張可能な、マルチレベルインテリジェント車両ハイ ウェイナビゲーションシステムにおいて、 走行のための複数の前以て決められたルートおよび該ルートの区間を格納するの に適しているメモリユニットと、 前記メモリユニットに、1つのルートの種々の区間を入力しかつ前記ルートおよ びその区間を選択するための所望の目的地識別を入力するための入力装置と、 転換の方向を含んでいるそれぞれのルート区間に対する車両の走行方向およびそ れぞれの区間の距離を指示しているグラフィックシンボルを表示するためのディ スプレイユニットと、 前記ルートの複数の区間を記述している英数字シンボルを表示するためのデータ ディスプレイユニットと、 ホイールパルス入力信号発生器および電源によって発生される信号を受信するよ うになっているコントローラと を備え、前記コントローラは、前記ホイールパルス入力信号発生器からのパルス によって測定された走行距離に応じて前記ディスプレイユニットにルートの連続 的な区間を表すようにするためにシステムの前記ユニ ットを体系的に操作する ことを特徴とするインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 2.付加的に、要求に応答して、出発位置と目的地位置との間のルートの複数 の区間を形成するための走行ルート決定コンピュータおよび地図データベースを 含んでいる インテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 3.付加的に、車両と、ルート計画および走行情報を発生しかつ車両の前記メ モリに伝送するための走行ルート決定コンピュータを制御することで前記中央コ ンピュータをアドレス指定するための中央処理手段との通信のための高周波手段 を含んでいる 請求項1記載のインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 4.付加的に、車両と、ルート計画および走行情報を発生しかつ車両の前記メ モリに伝送するための走行ルート決定コンピュータを制御することで前記中央コ ンピュータをアドレス指定するための中央処理手段との通信のための高周波手段 を含んでいる 請求項2記載のインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 5.付加的に、初期位置を車両の緯度および経度座標において検出しかつこの 種の情報を前記コントロー ラにロードするための全地球測位システム手段を含んでいる 請求項3記載のインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 6.付加的に、車両と、トラヒック走行ルート決定情報用のロードサイド赤外 線ビーコンとの間の交信のための車両内赤外線送信機手段と、該赤外線送信機手 段に応答して前記走行ルート決定コンピュータをオーバライドするために信号を 受信する手段とを含んでいる 請求項1記載のインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。 7.付加的に、所望のルートの走行ルート決定区間を受信するために前記入力 装置に接続されている手段を含んでいる 請求項1記載のインテリジェント車両ハイウェイナビゲーションシステム。
