Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. インクジェットプリント用に一組の低濃度ハーフトーンドットパターンを 作成する方法で、 マトリックス配置されたアドレス可能な複数のポイントにより形成され、上記 ポイントの少なくとも幾つかがハーフトーンドットパターンを形成するために“ オン”されたハーフトーンセルを作成し、 上記複数の“オン”ポイントを選択して上記ハーフトーンドットパターンのコ アコンポーネントを形成し、そして 上記コアコンポーネントの上記“オン”ポイントの少なくとも幾つかを選択的 に“オフ”して低濃度ハーフトーンドットパターンを作る、 工程を含む方法。 2. 上記コアコンポーネントの上記ポイントの少なくとも幾つかを選択的に“ オフ”する工程は、 上記ハーフトーンセルとマスクセルとの論理積演算を行う工程であって、上記 マスクセルはマトリックス配置されたアドレス可能な第2の複数のポイントによ り形成され、上記第2のポイントの少なくとも幾つかは“オン”されてマスクパ ターンを形成し、上記論理積演算はマトリックス配置されたアドレス可能な第3 の複数のポイントにより形成される中間セルを作成し、上記第3のポイントの少 なくとも幾つかは上記論理積演算の結果として“オン”されて中間パターンを形 成する工程と、 上記ハーフトーンドットパターンのエッジコンポーネントを形成する上記ハー フトーンドットパターンの上記複数の“オン”ポイントを選択する工程と、 上記ハーフトーンドットパターンの上記エッジコンポーネントを形成する選択 された複数の“オン”ポイントと、上記中間セルとの論理和演算を行って、低濃 度のハーフトーンドットパターンを作成する工程、を含む。 3. 上記マスクセルの上記第2のポイントは2個ごとに1個が“オン”される 、請求項2の方法。 4. 上記マスクセルの上記第2のポイントは4個ごとに1個が“オン”される 、請求項2の方法。 5. 上記ハーフトーンセルと上記マスクセルの論理積演算を行う工程は、上記 上記ハーフトーンドットパターンの上記コアコンポーネントを形成する上記選択 された複数の“オン”ポイントと上記中間セルとの論理積演算を行って上記中間 セルを作成する工程を含む、請求項2の方法。 6. 上記低濃度ハーフトーンドットパターンの表示をインクジェットプリンタ を用いてプリント基材上にプリントする工程を有する、請求項2の方法。 7. 請求項1から6のいずれかの方法の工程を用いてインクジェットプリント 用に一組の低濃度ハーフトーンドットパターンを作成する装置。
