Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多色液晶表示装置を備え、該表示装置は、 内側を向いた面を有する2つの一般的に平行な基板と、 これら基板の上記内面に配置されて少なくとも1つの液晶表示セグメントを 画成する複数の透明電極と、 上記2つの基板間に配置された液晶材料とを含み、そして更に、 各々の液晶表示セグメントの透明電極にまたがって規定電圧を印加すること により活性状態と不活性状態との間を切り換わるように液晶表示セグメントを電 子的に制御するための制御ユニットを備え、 上記液晶表示セグメントは、その液晶表示セグメントが不活性状態に入れら れたときに第1カラーを発生し、そして液晶表示セグメントが活性状態に入れら れたときに第2カラーを発生し、更に、上記液晶表示セグメントは、規定の頻度 で活性状態と不活性状態との間を切り換わることを特徴とする動的に変化する装 飾品。 2.上記装飾品は電子時計であり、そして上記液晶表示装置は時計文字盤である 請求項1に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 3.上記装飾品は貴金属製品である請求項1に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 4.上記液晶表示セグメントを電子的に制御する制御ユニットは、更に、各液晶 表示セグメントの透明電極にまたがって規定電圧を印加することにより、完全活 性状態と、部分的活性状態と、不活性状態との間で液晶表示セグメントを切り換 え、上記液晶表示セグメントは、それらが部分的活性状態に入れられたときには 第1カラーと第2カラーとの間のカラーの色合いを形成する請求項1ないし3に 記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 5.上記多色液晶表示装置は、更に、第1カラーと第2カラーとの間で選択され たカラー変化を示すように液晶材料に組み込まれた染料の組み合わせを含む請求 項1及び4に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 6.上記染料の組み合わせは、正の秩序パラメータ染料と負の秩序パラメータ染 料とを含む請求項5に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 7.上記染料の組み合わせは、正の秩序パラメータ染料とゼロの秩序パラメータ 染料とを含む請求項5に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 8.上記染料の組み合わせは、負の秩序パラメータ染料とゼロの秩序パラメータ 染料とを含む請求項5に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 9.上記多色液晶表示装置は、更に、その液晶表示装置をシール可能に貫通する 中央に配置された孔を含み、上記電子時計は、更に、液晶表示装置の片側に配置 された時計機構と、液晶表示装置の他側に配置された時刻をアナログ表示する時 刻指示針とを含み、この時刻指示針は、上記時計機構に作動的に関連されそして 上記孔を経てそこに接続される請求項2に記載の動的に変化する電子時計。 10.上記複数の透明電極は、1日の時刻に一般的に関わりない像を表すように規 定の向きに配置される請求項2及び9に記載の動的に変化する電子時計。 11.上記多色液晶表示装置は、複数のシールされたチャンバを有する多チャンバ 液晶表示装置より成り、各チャンバ内の液晶表示セグメントは、その隣接チャン バの液晶表示セグメントとは異なるカラー変化を形成する請求項1、4及び10 に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 12.上記制御ユニットは、ランダムな頻度で上記液晶表示セグメントを種々の状 態間で変化させる請求項1、4及び10に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 13.上記制御ユニットは、ユーザが選択できる頻度で上記液晶表示セグメントを 種々の状態間で変化させる請求項1、4及び10に記載の動的に変化する装飾品 。 14.上記制御ユニットは、選択されたカラーを形成するように液晶表示装置をカ スタマイズし、上記選択されたカラーは、第1カラーと第2カラーとの間の範囲 である請求項1、4及び10に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。 15.上記複数の透明電極は、幾何学像、アニメーション像、カスタマイズされた 像、ロゴ、又は他の認識し得る像を表すように規定の向きに配置される請求項1 、4及び10に記載の動的に変化する装飾品。
