Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多孔質耐火性担体上に、触媒有効量の銀、促進量のアルカリ金属、促進量 のレニウム、及びオキソ化合物の状態で担持させた促進量の第IVB族金属を担持 した触媒。 2.第IVB族金属をジルコニウム及びハフニウムからなる群から選択する請求 の範囲1に記載の触媒。 3.担体の少なくとも85重量%が、水細孔容積が0.1〜0.75ml/g、表 面積が0.03〜10m2/gのα−アルミナからなり、触媒が全触媒1g当たりの 金属で表して1〜30重量%の銀、0.01〜10マイクロモルの第IVB族金属 、3000ppm のアルカリ金属、0.1〜10マイクロモルのレニウムを含有す る請求の範囲1または2に記載の触媒。 4.担体が、少なくとも2.57kgの圧潰強度と少なくとも0.48kg/lの沈 降充填密度を有し、担体中に含まれるα−アルミナの95重量%〜40重量%に 相当する平均微結晶寸法が0.4〜4μm の粒子状第一α−アルミナ成分と、担 体中に含まれるα−アルミナの残分を占めるゾル−ゲル法にてその場で生成した 第二α−アルミナ成分からなるものである請求の範囲3に記載の触媒。 5.上記担体が、担体中のアルミナの重量に対してさらに0.05重量%〜1 重量%のチタン酸塩を含有するものである請求の範囲4に記載の触媒。 6.担体に担持させる上記第IVB族金属オキソ化合物を、金属オキシハロゲン 化物、オキシ硝酸塩またはオキシ炭酸塩からなる群から選択する請求の範囲1〜 5のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。 7.上記アルカリ金属促進剤が、セシウムを含有する請求の範囲1〜6のいず れか一項に記載の触媒。 8.上記アルカリ金属促進剤が、セシウムと少なくとも1種のセシウム以外の アルカリ金属を含有する請求の範囲7に記載の触媒。 9.硫黄、モリブデン、タングステン、クロム及びこれらの混合物から選択さ れるレニウム共促進剤をさらに含有する請求の範囲1〜8のいずれか一項に記載 の触媒。 10.請求の範囲1に記載の触媒の調製方法であって、多孔質耐火性担体を (a) 触媒有効量の銀、 (b) 促進量のアルカリ金属、 (c) 促進量のレニウム金属、及び (d) 促進量の第IVB族金属オキソ化合物 を溶解した溶液で含浸し、任意に含浸後に、銀を金属銀へ還元することからなる 上記方法。 11.含浸担体を、170℃〜600℃の温度範囲にわたって、少なくとも4 体積%の水素を含有するガスと十分に接触させる請求の範囲10に記載の方法。 12.エチレンオキシドの製造方法であって、エチレンオキシド形成条件下、 180℃〜330℃の温度で請求の範囲1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の触媒の存 在下にて、エチレンを蒸気相中にて酸素含有ガスと接触させることからなる上記 方法。 13.アリル型水素を含まないオレフィンのエポキシ化方法であって、エポキ シド形成条件下、75℃〜330℃の温度で、ハロゲンまたはハロゲン化物と請 求の範囲1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の触媒の存在下にて、オレフィンを蒸気相 中にて酸素含有ガスと、オレフィン:酸素の比を0.01〜20に維持しながら 接触させることからなり、上記触媒が、金属で含浸された後に少なくとも4体積 %の水素を含有するガスと十分に接触したものである上記方法。
