Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.噴霧速度が少なくとも4cc/minまでの時に、5×106ohm.c mのオーダの抵抗率と1ポアズのオーダの粘性を有する液体を噴霧する静電噴霧 装置において、 出口を有するノズル手段と、 前記ノズル手段に噴霧すべき液体を積極的に供給する手段と、 高電圧発生装置と、 ノズル手段の出口に現れる液体に電位を与えるために高電圧発生装置に接続さ れる手段と、 ノズル手段の近くに配置され、ノズル手段の出口の近くの電界強度を変える手 段と、 半絶縁材料から成る電極と、 電極を前記高電圧発生装置に電気的に接続し、ノズル出口に現れる液体と同じ 極性で、ノズル手段の出口の近くで電位の傾きを低減させるような強さの電位を 電極に発生させる手段と から成ることを特徴とする静電噴霧装置。 2.前記半絶縁材料が少なくとも1×107ohm.cmの抵抗率を有するこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.前記半絶縁材料が1011〜1012ohm.cmのオーダの抵抗率を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項に記載の装置。 4.ノズル手段の出口に現れる液体に印加される電位が25kVを上回ること を特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第3項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 5.電極に印加される電位が液体に印加される電位と実質的に同じ強さである ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第3項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 6.ノズル手段の出口に液体を供給する手段が、アクチュエータに与えられた 作動力によって流速が決まるように配置された使用者可動アクチュエータを有す ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第5項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 7.供給手段のアクチュエータの動作によって、ノズル手段の出口から液体が 放出する前に液体に電圧を印加するような方法で電圧発生器が作動することを特 徴とする請求の範囲第6項に記載の装置。 8.ノズル手段の出口の直径が少なくとも500ミクロンであることを特徴と する請求の範囲第1項〜第7項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 9.前記電極が実質的に環状で、かつ前記電極に液体と実質的に同じ強さの電 圧が供給され、電極がノズル手段の出口と環状電極の前端の径方向反対側との間 に伸びる仮想線の間の角度が140°〜195°の範囲になるように配置されて いることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第3項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 10.前記角度が150°〜180°の間であることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第9項に記載の装置。 11.発生装置の高電圧出力に接続された電子切換手段をさらに備え、装置の 作動を切り換える電流及び/又は電圧を制御することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項〜第10項の何れか一項に記載の装置。 12.切換手段が、高電圧発生装置の電源の切断に応じた残留蓄積電荷を放電 するための通路を提供できることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項に記載の装置 。 13.切換手段が、高電圧発生装置の電源切断及び噴霧の中断のための使用者 可動スイッチのの動作に応じて自動的に作動することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 12項に記載の装置。 14.切換手段が、整流を行うように高電圧発生装置に接続されるか、又は高 電圧発生装置の一部を形成することを特徴とする請求の範囲第12項又は第13 項に記載の装置。 15.前記電子切換手段が、一組の放射線感応電子切換要素と、予め決められ た周波数の二極出力電圧を生成するように切換要素の動作を制御するために配置 された放射線発生手段とから成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項に記載の 装置。 16.ハウジングと、ノズル手段と、ノズル手段に噴霧すべき材料を供給する 手段と、それを介して前記材料に高電圧を印加し静電噴霧を生じさせる出力端子 を有す る高電圧発生回路と、半絶縁材料から成り、ノズル手段を囲み、前記回路に電気 的に接続され、又は接続可能にされ、それにより前記材料に印加された電圧と同 じ極性の高電圧を噴霧中に確立させ、ノズル出口の近くの電界を弱める環状要素 と、噴霧の中断と同時に噴霧中に装置のキャパシティブ要素よって蓄積された電 荷の放電を行う手段とから成ることを特徴とする静電噴霧装置。 17.高電圧発生回路の作動及び停止を制御するための使用者可動手段を備え 、前記放電手段が高電圧回路の停止に応じて自動的に作動されることを特徴とす る請求の範囲第16項に記載の装置。 18.前記放電手段が電子切換手段から成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1 6項又は第17項の記載の装置。 19.前記電子切換手段が、放射線感応電子スイッチと電子スイッチの動作を 制御する放射線生成手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第18項に記 載の装置。 20.液体の容積を介してノズルに現れる液体に高電圧を印加することを特徴 とする請求の範囲第1項〜第19項の何れか一項に記載の装置。
