(57)【要約】 【課題】 この発明は同種、特に異種合成樹脂パイプあ
るいは成型物を接続するためのIH樹脂ヒーターに関す
る。 【解決手段】 IH樹脂ヒーターはポリエチレンまたは
ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィンを不飽和カルボン酸
あるいはその無水物で変成した組成物、非晶性共重合ポ
リエステルよりなる接着材と高周波誘導発熱体とを混練
して形成される。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は合成樹脂材に適用
する接着材を備えたIH樹脂ヒーターに関し、具体的に
はIH樹脂ヒーターを介して2本の合成樹脂パイプある
いは成型物を接続するに際して前記3部材が同質または
親和性の場合は当然のこととして、前記各部材が異質の
場合でもIH樹脂ヒーターに内包する接着材によって前
記3部材を接着固化して接続できるIH樹脂ヒーターに
係る。

【従来の技術】この出願と同一出願人によって特開平7
−139681号で技術開示しているIH樹脂ヒーター
を用いた合成樹脂管の接続手段は図5で示すように、高
周波誘導発熱体で形成した発熱層1’を合成樹脂材1
2’と磁性材料例えばFe系粉体11’とを混練して形
成し、図6に示すようにこの発熱層1’を継手部材2’
に挿着し外部にセットした高周波磁界発生装置Eを作動
させて発熱層1’と対接する2本の合成樹脂パイプ
3’,3’および継手部材2’のそれぞれの部位を溶融
固化させて結合するものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来のIH樹脂ヒータ
ーを用いて接合される合成樹脂パイプはいずれも、接合
する両合成樹脂継手部材および発熱層の合成樹脂材のそ
れぞれの材質はいずれも同質か、これと親和性のある材
質に限定されるものである。この発明は接合すべき合成
樹脂パイプおよび継手部材とが異質材であっても接続を
行えるようなIH樹脂ヒーターを提供しようとするもの
である。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明に係る高周波誘
導発熱体の発熱層を図1により説明すれば次のとおりで
ある。同図においてIH樹脂ヒーターを形成する発熱層
1は高周波発熱体11と接着材12とを混練した構造と
されている。
【0005】発熱体11はFe,Fe−Ni合金などの
磁性材料と高周波誘導発熱体である非磁性体であるカー
ボンファイバーなどが用いられる。接着材12はポリエ
チレンまたはポリプロピレンあるいはポリオレフィンを
不飽和カルボン酸あるいはその無水物で変性した組成物
あるいは酸価が10〜100当量/106 gで平均分子
量5000以下の非晶性重合ポリエステルよりなるもの
で、商品名「ポリタック」(出光石油化学製)、「バイ
ロン」(東洋紡績製)、「アドマー」(三井石油化学
製)、あるいは「ボンドファースト」(住友化学工業
製)(以上いずれも株式会社)などであり、多層容器例
えば食品容器などの中間層として利用するもので公知材
料である。なお金属に対する接着材として特開平1−1
5379号として技術開示されている。

【発明の実施の形態】図2はこの発明に係るIH樹脂ヒ
ーターを示したもので、発熱層1は磁性体であるFe線
11,11を編組したネットの上下面に接着材、例えば
「ポリタック」のシート12,12をヒートシールした
板体として形成されている。

【実施例】図3はこの発明に係るIH樹脂ヒーターの実
施例を示したもので、IH樹脂ヒーター1は熱可塑性合
成樹脂材の継手部材2の円周溝内に挿着されており、2
本の接合管3,4の外表面にヒーター面を直接接触する
ようにセットされている。なおこの実施例は、継手部材
と2本の合成樹脂管はいずれも異質材料A,Bで成形さ
れたものである。このようにセットされた状態で継手部
材2の外部にセットされた高周波電源と磁界発生コイル
を有する高周波磁界発生装置Eを作動すればIH樹脂ヒ
ーター1中のFe線が発熱し、これによってIH樹脂ヒ
ーター自身加熱され溶融化する。
【0008】図4に示すように、IH樹脂ヒーターの溶
融化によって継手部材2および2本の異質A,Bの2本
の合成樹脂管3,4の対接部位はいずれも溶融化し、こ
の溶質中の接着材12によって前記溶液→固化すること
で前記両管3,4は継手材2を介して接合される。前記
接着材12に対する2本の異質管A,Bの適用例を表1
によって説明すれば次のとおりである。

【0010】実施例として、図3におけるA管がPP,
B管がPVCの場合には接着材としてM−320をまた
A,B両管がそれぞれPVC,O−PETの場合には接
着材として非晶性共重合ポリエステル樹脂を用いれば接
合目的を達するものである。上記したように、公知の接
着材を異質管に適用する場合には変成組成物中に内在す
る接着機能をもった例えばゴム質などの第3成分を取捨
選択することで必要とする接着材が得られるものであ
る。
【0011】〔他の実施例〕高周波誘導発熱体の形状と
して、磁性の粉粒体を成形した圧粉体およびこれを焼結
処理した焼結体が適用出来る。図5に示すようにリング
状に成形された圧粉体あるいは焼結体11の周囲に接着
材12をコーティングしてIH樹脂ヒーターを形成する
ものである。
【0012】このIH樹脂ヒーターの使用態様は図3に
示すものと同様であり、高周波磁界によってIH樹脂ヒ
ーター1中のFe粉などから構成される圧粉体あるいは
焼結体が発熱し、これによって樹脂が加熱され、管が接
合される。圧粉体および焼結体が有利な理由は、通常の
鋼材に比較し軽量であることと、表面が凹凸に富み、樹
脂をコーティングしたときに接着しやすい点にある。ま
た、圧粉体、焼結体の内径は通常±0.05mm程度に
精度良く作ることが出来、さらにコーティングされる樹
脂量によっても厚みがコントロールされる。なお円筒体
は限定されるものでなく、他の成形体として形成できる
ものである。
【0013】この発明は上記した発明の実施の形態およ
び実施例に限定されるものでなく、例えば高周波誘導発
熱体としては公知の磁性材料を利用できるものであり、
また混練組成材との混練比なども任意に選択できるもの
である。また高周波誘導発熱体の形状を粉粒体にするか
線状体にするとか、あるいはIH樹脂ヒーターの形状と
して前記発熱体と接着材とによって網目模様(ポーラス
形状)にするとか不織布状にするとかの設計変更を任意
に行えるものである。

【発明の効果】この発明はIH樹脂ヒーターの発熱層を
高周波誘導発熱体と接着材との混練組成体として形成し
たので、継手部材と異質の合成樹脂管を高周波磁界発生
装置によって接合することができるものである。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 ポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレン等の
    ポリオレフィンを不飽和カルボン酸あるいはその無水物
    で変成した組成物、または酸価が10〜100当量/1
    6 gで平均分子量5000以上の非晶性共重合ポリエ
    ステルよりなる接着剤と高周波誘導発熱体とを混練して
    形成した高周波誘導発熱する接着材を備えたIH樹脂ヒ
    ーター。
  2. 【請求項2】 繊布状,ネット状あるいは不織布状の高
    周波誘導発熱体とポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレン等
    のポリオレフィンを不飽和カルボン酸あるいはその無水
    物で変成した組成物、または酸価が10〜100当量/
    106 gで平均分子量5000以上の非晶性共重合ポリ
    エステルよりなる接着剤を積層してなるIH樹脂ヒータ
    ー。
  3. 【請求項3】 同種あるいは異種の2つの合成樹脂管を
    継ぎ手部材を用いて接合するに際して、前記3部材間に
    高周波誘導発熱体を有する接着材を介在せしめ、高周波
    磁気発生装置によって前記接着材を加熱溶融せしめるこ
    とを特徴とする合成樹脂管の接合法。
  4. 【請求項4】 請求項3記載の合成樹脂管の接合法にお
    いて合成樹脂管部材および継ぎ手部材を構成する合成樹
    脂と、IH樹脂ヒーターを構成する接着材樹脂とが、そ
    れぞれのシート状成形物を重ね合わせて加熱熔着させた
    ときの剥離強度が1kg/2.5cm以上である、組み合
    わせからなる接合法。
  5. 【請求項5】 請求項1記載の接着材を、磁性の粉粒体
    よりなる圧粉体あるいは焼結体等の成形体の表裏両面に
    コーティングして形成したことを特徴とするIH樹脂ヒ
    ーター。
