Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(1)チャンバを画成する第1および第2の取り外し可能部分と、(2)前 記チャンバを通過する流路を画成する第1および第2ポートと、(3)流体の流 路を横断する位置にある細胞を採取するよう構成された検体採取用部分および前 記第1ポートと相互に連通する検体採取用部分をそれぞれ持つ多孔性装置とから 構成されたことを特徴とする細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 2.前記多孔性装置は第1および第2分岐を持つ流路を画成するよう構成されて おり、前記第1分岐は前記検体採取用部分を貫通し、前記第2分岐は前記検体採 取用部分を迂回している請求項1に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 3.前記多孔性装置は、細胞の通過を防ぐ能力を持つ第1の多孔性媒体、および 流体から粒子状物質を除去する能力を持つ第2の多孔性媒体を含む請求項2に記 載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置 4.前記第1の多孔性媒体は多孔性膜であり、前記第2の多孔性媒体はデプス・ フィルターである請求項3に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 5.前記多孔性膜は、多孔性ポリカーボネート膜、非修飾ナイロン膜、修飾ナイ ロン膜から構成されるグループから選択された請求項3に記載の細胞学検査用検 体採取装置。 6.前記多孔性膜は多孔性ポリカーボネート膜である請求項5に記載の細胞学検 査用検体採取装置。 7.前記第1の多孔性媒体は前記第2の多孔性媒体にラミネートされている請求 項3に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 8.前記多孔性膜の孔径は約1ミクロンから約5ミクロンである請求項4に記載 の細胞学検査用検体採取装置 9.前記多孔性膜の孔径は約5ミクロンである請求項7に記載の細胞学検査用検 体採取装置。 10.前記第1の多孔性媒体は多孔性膜で、前記検体採取部分は多孔性膜の表面 である請求項3に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 11.前記第2分岐は前記第2の多孔性媒体を貫通している請求項10に記載の 細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 12.前記第1および第2ポートのうち少なくとも1つは接続手段を具える請求 項1に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 13.前記接続手段はルーアー・ロック、摩擦継手、テーパ消火ホース継手、ま たはネジ山継手で構成されている請求項12に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置 。 14.前記第1ポートは、ルーメンを持つニードルとして形成されている請求項 1に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 15.(1)流路を画成する入り口および出口ポートから構成されるハウジング 、と(2)流路を横断する位置にあるフィルターと、(3)表面に結合した抗体 を有し、出口チャンバ内に含まれる複数個の基質ビーズとを具える処理装置を更 に設けた請求項1に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取装置。 16.(1)チャンバを画成する第1および第2の取り外し可能部分と、(2) 前記チャンバを通る流路を画成する第1および第2ポートと、(3)流体流路 を横断する位置にあり細胞採取用に構成された検体採取用部分、および前記第1 ポートと相互に連通する検体採取用部分を持つ多孔性装置とを含む細胞学検査用 検体採取装置と、この細胞学検査用検体採取装置の前記第1ポートに取り外し可 能な状態で接続されている液体採取用カップとを具えることを特徴とする細胞学 検査用検体採取キット。 17.前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置の前記第2ポートに取り外し可能な状態で 接続されている流体排出手段を更に具える請求項16に記載の細胞学検査用検体 採取キット。 18.異物除去装置、細胞学検査用検体採取装置、および液体流通誘発手段から 構成され、細胞学検査用検体採取キットであって、異物除去装置は、細胞フィル ターを貫通して伸びる流路を画成する第1および第2ポートを含むハウジングか ら構成され、細胞学検査用検体採取装置は、前記異物除去装置の第1ポートに取 り外し可能な状態で接続されており、細胞学検査用検体採取装置には、(1)チ ャンバを画成する第1および第2の取り外し可能部分と、(2)前記チャンバを 通る流路を画成する第1および第2ポートと、(3)流体流路を横断する位置に あり、細胞を採取するように構成された検体採取用部分、および前記第1ポート と相互に連通する検体採取用部分を持つ多孔性装置とを具え、前記第1ポートは 前記異物除去装置の前記第1ポートと相互に連通しておりまた前記液体流通誘発 手段は、前記異物除去装置の前記第2ポートに取り外し可能な状態で接続されて いることを特徴とする細胞学検査用検体採取キット。 19.前記細胞フィルターの孔径は約0.3ミクロンから約35ミクロンである 請求項18に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取キット。 20.a)流体流路を横断する位置にあり、細胞採取用に構成された検体採取用 部分を持つ多孔性装置を含む細胞学検査用検体採取装置に細胞を含む体液を通過 させ、 b)細胞単層を検体採取用部分に置く工程からなることを特徴とする細胞学検 査用検体採取方法。 21.前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置は(1)チャンバを画成する第1および第 2の取り外し可能部分と、(2)チャンバを通る流路を画成する第1および第2 ポートと、(3)前記第1ポートと相互に連通する流体流路を横断する位置にあ る検体採取用部分とを具えた請求項20に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取方法。 22.c)前記検体採取用部分を細胞単層で飽和させ、それにより、検体採取用 部分を貫通して伸びる流路の第1分岐を通る体液の流れを妨げて、前記検体採取 用部分にこの流れを迂回させて前記流路の第2分岐に流し、 d)体液の流れが細胞学検査用検体採取装置に通ることを妨げる工程を更に有 する請求項21に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取方法。 23.e)前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置を開けて、前記多孔性装置の前記検体 採取用部分を暴露し、 f)前記検体採取用部分をスライド表面に相対して向けて、前記多孔性装置の 前記検体採取用部分から細胞をスライド表面に移動させる工程を更に有する請求 項22に記載の細胞学検査用細胞採取方法。 24.e)流体が前記第2ポートから前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置を通って前 記第1ポートに流れるようにし、それによって、前記検体採取用部分から培地に 細胞を移動させる工程を更に有する請求項22に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取方 法。 25.e)前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置に固定剤を通す工程を更に有する請求 項22に記載の細胞学検査用検体採取方法。 26.a)前記異物除去装置を通る(細胞を含む)体液が、細胞フィルター上の 細胞塊の蓄積によってその流れが妨げられるまで、入り口および出口ポートを持 ち、細胞フィルターを含む異物除去装置に前記体液を通し、 b)前記異物除去装置の入り口ポートに細胞学検査用検体採取装置を取り付け 、 c)工程a)で採用される方向と反対の方向に、前記異物質除去装置に体液を 通し、それによって、前記細胞フィルターから前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置の 検体採取用部分に細胞塊を移動させ、 d)前記検体採取用部分を細胞単層で飽和させ、それにより、前記検体採取用 部分を貫通して伸びる流路の第1分岐を通る体液の流れを妨げて、前記検体採取 用部分をこの体液によって迂回させ前記流路の第2分岐にこの体液を流し、 e)前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置に通る前記体液の流れを妨げる工程からな ることを特徴とする細胞採取方法。 27.f)前記細胞学検査用検体採取装置を開けて、多孔性装置の検体採取用部 分を暴露し、 g)検体採取用部分をスライド表面に相対して向けて、この検体採取用部分か ら少なくとも細胞単層の一部を前記スライド表面に移動させる工程を更に有する 請求項26に記載の細胞採取方法。
