Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.高密度を有するポリエチレンを紡糸口金を介して溶融紡糸し、紡糸口金から 出てくる繊維を冷却し、得られた繊維を50〜150℃で延伸することによって製造 される高強度ポリエチレン繊維において、溶融紡糸に供せられるポリエチレンが エチレンの単独重合体であって、 ・重量平均分子量Mwが125000〜175000g/molであること、 ・数平均分子量Mnが26000〜33000g/molであること、 ・ポリマー分散性(Mw/Mn)が5未満であること、および ・密度が955g/dm3より大きいこと、 という条件を満たすと共に、延伸段階における延伸の度合いが少なくとも400% であること。 2.繊維の延伸が2段階以上で行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリ エチレン繊維。 3.前記延伸が表面温度が50〜150℃であるロールを使用して行われることを特 徴とする請求項1または2に記載のポリエチレン繊維。 4.延伸段階で繊維が400〜2500%に延伸されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3 のいずれかに記載のポリエチレン繊維。 5.ポリマー分散性が2〜5であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに 記載のポリエチレン繊維。
