Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.有機化合物系の不純物を含む不活性ガスを精製するにあたり、酸素または 酸素含有ガスを添加した当該不活性ガスを、不活性多孔質担体に支持されかつP tまたはPtとPdの混合物を含有する触媒床に温度250〜600℃で循環さ せること、および 酸素の使用量が、不純物に関し化学量論量であるかまたは前記不活性ガスが触 媒床の出口において酸素約10ppm以下を含むような過剰量であること を特徴とする方法。 2.触媒床の出口に、ppmオーダーの酸素を約5秒以下の分析応答時間で検出 するのに適した酸素アナライザーを連結して、当該酸化反応における化学量論量 をモニターし、これにより請求項1記載の条件下に不活性ガスを連続的に精製す る請求項1記載の方法。 3.精製されるべき不活性ガスが、ポリエステル樹脂の固相重縮合反応器から のガスであって、 精製した不活性ガスを、予め乾燥処理して当該酸化工程において形成された水 分を除去し、その後重縮合反応器へ再循環させる請求項2記載の方法。 4.不活性ガスが窒素または窒素含有ガスである請求項3記載の方法。 5.触媒が、表面積約70〜80m2/g以上および多孔率約0.4〜0.6cm3 /gのγ−アルミナ上に支持されたPtまたはPdから形成される請求項2また は3記載の方法。 6.触媒床の温度を約250〜350℃に維持する請求項5記載の方法。 7.酸素アナライザーが酸素用ジルコニアセンサーである請求項4、5または 6記載の方法。 8.酸素含有ガスとして、空気を用いる請求項2、3、4または6記載の方法 。
